Welcome to the next meeting of the Australian Sports Technologies Network ›in Queensland, we are delighted to present a research focus in conjunction with the Griffith School of Engineering, the Queensland Academy of Sport and the Journal of Fitness Research. Our aim is to promote Sports Technology research and innovation excellence in South East Queensland for industry, government and research communities. To grow awareness for our Australian Sports Technology Network members as well as develop the conversation and provide an early stage publication outcome for current research to bring together closer industry and research and government in this growth area.

Advance Call for papers

All Sports Technology and related disciplines are invited to submit a short 2 page extended abstract for this event. Papers may be focused on research, innovation, and applications of technology as well as activities in related areas such as health technology. Accepted papers will be invited to present their work as a poster, over lunch. This is an opportunity to communicate your work with the wider community. In addition papers meeting the standards of scholarly merit will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Fitness Research.
