The ASTN Masterclass provided a number of key takeaways from the showcase, presentations and discussion:

  1. Sportstech is so much more than what is commonly expressed and includes advanced materials, sensors & devices, medical & health as well as information & communication technologies (see Who We Are).
  2. Sportstech extends well beyond elite and high-performance only and also covers the business of sports & broadcasting in addition to active living and grassroots sports.
  3. Cross-industry knowledge diffusion and transfer of insights from and to adjacent industries provides great input to implementing innovative ideas - adding value to both sides.
